Kazakhstan President has sent a telegram to Nicolas Sarkozy, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Nazarbayev’s press-service. In his letter Nazarbayev thanked Sarkozy for his “self-sacrificing long-term work on development of the relations between France and Kazakhstan” and expressed his hope to continue the friendly relations. “Thanks to your energy, multilateral cooperation between our countries reached the level of strategic partnership. Our countries implemented many significant and large-scale joint economic projects under your initiative and with your support. During the economic crisis in your country you became well-known in the world for the large-scale and key reforms you implemented. I am confident that France and the European Union will continue benefiting from your rich experience and unquenchable energy. Highly appreciating our personal friendly relations, I hope that our cooperation will be continued in future. My dear friend, I will you new successes and achievements. Our friendship has to continue. I will be happy to meet you in Kazakhstan or any other place,” the telegram states. The second telegram was sent by Nursultan Nazarbayev to the new President Francois Hollande in relation to his victory in the presidential elections.
